Accessibility statement
Scavolini S.p.A is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with Italian Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004 and Directive (EU) 2019/882.
This accessibility statement applies to the website available at https://www.scavolini.com/ww/.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Annex A of the UNI CEI EN 301 549 standard, due to the non-compliances and/or exemptions listed below.
Non-accessible content
To prepare this accessibility statement, we took into account the WCAG 2.1 guidelines and the user experience of a test panel composed of individuals with various disabilities. The panel tested the site using a range of assistive technologies and interaction methods, including screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), keyboard navigation and screen magnification features.
Below are the non-compliances and their corresponding WCAG success criteria:
1.3.1 Info and relationships: in some instances, information, structure and relationships conveyed visually are not available in text form or cannot be properly identified by assistive technologies.
2.4.3 Focus order: in some instances, keyboard focus moves between interactive elements in an order that does not follow a logical and visual sequence, making the content less understandable or usable.
2.4.4 Link purpose (in context): the purpose of certain links cannot be determined from the link text or its associated context, making it difficult to predict the destination or triggered action.
2.4.6 Headings and labels: some headings or labels do not describe the topic, purpose or function of the associated content and controls clearly enough.
2.4.7 Focus visible: during keyboard navigation, the focus indicator is not always visible or sufficiently distinct, making it difficult to identify the active element.
3.2.2 On input: changing the setting or value of certain controls causes an unexpected change of context without prior notification to the user.
3.3.2 Labels or instructions: some input fields or controls requiring data entry lack sufficiently clear labels or instructions so users can understand their purpose and how to complete them.
4.1.2 Name, role, value: for certain user interface components, the name, role, status or value is not correctly communicated to assistive technologies, or changes to them are not made programmatically available.
4.1.3 Status messages: some status messages are not programmatically determined and are therefore not communicated by assistive technologies without requiring a shift in focus.
