What is the SGS Merit Award?

The Merit Award is an attestation of excellence conferred by SGS ICS Italia on organisations whose management system successfully integrates several certified international standards.

More specifically, Scavolini’s award refers to three specific system certifications:

• Quality – ISO 9001 (Certificate No. IT17/0779): governs design, production and service processes, with structured procedures for operational monitoring and the continuous improvement of performance.
• Environmental management – ISO 14001 (Certificate No. IT21/0048): defines the organisational model for managing, controlling and reducing the environmental impacts of the site’s production cycles (energy consumption, waste management and emissions).
• Occupational health and safety – ISO 45001 (Certificate No. IT18/0017): sets out the preventive measures, protocols and checks used to safeguard the health and safety of workers in operational areas.
