Tips for a clean and healthy kitchen

Some odors present in the kitchen are not just annoying but harmful to your health.
Eliminating the problem is very simple: just follow some rules daily.

Commonly used household detergents can be harmful to your health because they contain toxic chemicals. You need to choose non-toxic detergents or use 'home - remedies'

Air out always
Every time you cook it is fundamental to open the windows.

If you can't because of bad weather or freezing temperatures, turn on the ventilation hood.

It's equally important to regularly empty the garbage can, especially of vegetable or liquid refuse.

Detergents

Commonly used household detergents can be harmful to your health because they contain toxic chemicals.
You need to choose non-toxic detergents or use 'home - remedies' based on lemon, vinegar or bicarbonate of soda.
These natural cleaners do not pollute and are suitable for most of the components of your kitchen (oven, refrigerator, furniture and even pots and pans).

Tiny invaders

The kitchen is a favorable habitat for mould and insects.
Leftover food and humidity are ideal nutrients for these tiny biological organisms that can easily become risk factors for your health.
To avoid this a few precautions are sufficient:

Mold:
- always keep surfaces clean and dry
- use the ventilation hood while cooking
- don't leave pots boiling without lids

Insects:
- always keep food inside sealed containers
- take out the garbage regularly
- since heat favors the development of insects, prepare for them in the summer and spring.
Sprinkle salt or Cayenne pepper (ingredients that the majority of parasites do not appreciate) in strategic points of the kitchen: near where they come in, between the furniture and the floor and behind appliances.
