Discover the new coffee table collection
Looking at your living room, does it feel like something is missing? It might well be that small yet fundamental piece of furniture you can style precisely to your liking: the coffee table. Often viewed as mere space-fillers, coffee tables are in fact the true anchor of the living area, dividing the TV corner from the relaxation area while providing a valuable surface for everything you need, from your morning coffee to a bedtime read. Did you know Scavolini has launched a dedicated collection of coffee tables? Discover the Dorian models!
Which coffee table should you place in front of your sofa?
A few necessary guidelines first: how do you select the perfect coffee table for your living room? It is all a matter of proportions and materials. You should in fact consider:
1) the right height: the coffee table must establish a dialogue with the sofa seat, never rising above the line of the cushions.
2) surrounding space: dimensions should be carefully balanced to guarantee maximum freedom of movement.
3) the most suitable finish: in more compact rooms, the transparency and reflections of glass lighten the setting, making it look instantly more spacious.
Scavolini’s answer to these design requirements is Dorian, part of the Every Time matching furniture and accessories collection: modern side and coffee tables made with 1 cm thick transparent float glass. Here are the models!
Dorian 1
Featuring a distinctive C-shaped silhouette, this model is designed to slide neatly over the armrest of an armchair. Crafted from bronze float glass with a frosted finish, it is the ideal companion for remote working afternoons or breakfast in bed.
Dorian 2 and Dorian 3
With its seamless curved design, this glass coffee table sits perfectly on a rug such as Scavolini’s Elegant model, offering ample space for art books, trays, and scented candles.
Unlike Dorian 2 in smoked glass, the Dorian 3 coffee table showcases the luminous quality of frosted bronze float glass to accentuate its soft lines, pairing beautifully with pale modular sofas and warm oak parquet flooring.
Dorian 4 and Dorian 5
Dorian 4 (bronze, 60x60x42 cm) and Dorian 5 (smoked, 48x48x38 cm) are two near-identical versions created for maximum versatility. Indeed, these coffee tables belong not only in the living room, where they furnish a beautiful conversation corner, but also in the bedroom, where they serve as practical, elegant bedside tables.
