Steel and glass are the perfect materials for those in search of special styling effects in their kitchen
Steel
Previously used solely for appliances and worktops, this material lends kitchen cabinets a modern elegance while guaranteeing the utmost hygiene and durability. In the majority of cases, the door is made of 18/10 stainless steel (18 indicates the percentage Chrome that makes the alloy corrosion-proof, whereas 10 indicates the percentage Nickel that makes it more hard-wearing and tough) and they are rounded to do away with sharp edges.
Cleaning and maintenance
We advise you wash the surfaces with a sponge soaked in neutral soapy water and then rinse and dry with a cloth, wiping in the same direction as the satin finish to avoid spots and stripes and prevent any salt and limescale in the water from leaving stains. Despite being a strong material, it is sensitive to scratches, so it is best to avoid objects which could score it such as metal wire pads, abrasive substances and powder detergents.
Glass
While glass has always been considered to be a decorative element, useful for displaying plates and glasses, doors made entirely out of glass are now being produced, which offer unrivalled brightness. This material is available in multiple decorative versions, and in fact our range includes a number of colours and decorations for glass doors as well.
Cleaning and maintenance
For effective cleaning, we recommend the use simply of a soft and damp cloth together with non-abrasive detergents. The interior of the door also requires attention during cleaning and use. Despite being a strong material, it is sensitive to scratches, so it is best to avoid objects which could score it such as metal wire pads, abrasive substances and powder detergents. For stains and limescale residue, use vinegar, vinegar-based detergents or limescale-removers, applying the product and leaving it on for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
