Quality Management System

Scavolini began implementing a Quality Management System compliant with the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard in the 1990s. This commitment materialised in 1996 with the award of its first certification.
The Quality Management System is certified by SGS, an independent body and world leader in audits, inspections and certifications. The system adopted relies on an integrated framework of procedures and controls designed to optimise every phase of the production cycle. Harmonising internal and external processes enables the company to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste and prevent non-conformities, fostering a corporate culture built on quality.

To simplify, here are some processes that determine quality:

- product design and development,

- customer order management,

- supplier selection, assessment and monitoring,

- manufacturing and maintenance process,

- incoming, in-process and pre-shipment inspection of materials and finished products,

- laboratory testing,

- documentation management,

- managing complaints

Because our main goal is total customer satisfaction.

In 2012, the same certification was also extended to the bathroom furniture and living room furniture sector.
